I want to spend 6 to 7 days in peaceful resort. Should be hygenic and budgeted providing vegetarian food. If there is some ways to book now for November it will be great but first I have to organized flights.

Traveling to Maldives from Australia & wanting to know what type of power adaptor to buy for charging our cameras, etc. Non of them seen to specify Maldives, would one suited for India be correct?

I am a Muslim and planning to visit the maldives for the very first time with my wife this November. The only difficulty for us was choosing a resort which met our requirements, because they all seem beautiful. We were spoilt for choice! However, after plenty of looking around, we have short listed 3 resorts and these are: 1) Paradise Island, 2) Kuredu Island and 3) Bandos Island. Out of these three resorts I think we like the look of Paradise Island. However, my only concern as a Muslim is the food at the resort. Will the food at this resort be Halal. Are the chefs Muslim?

Salam Alaikum. Thank you for your concerns as a Muslim about Halal food in the Maldives. I have been to Paradise Island a couple of times and I've heard that the Resort does not import pork for their cuisines. And knowing that I am a Muslim they told me that the food is halal and to be only concerned about alcohol. I hope you can come to Maldives and have a nice time, InshaAllah.
